A University with 500 employees, 10,000 students of which 40% are distance students.

The computer science division staff counts to 25 full time lecturers/researchers and a full time support technician.

The TOI partner Creative Media Lab is a part of computer science division. Creative Media lab works with R&D in computer graphics, 3D and animation, interactive web services, human-computer-interaction & use of ICT in assessment, validation, testing, e-learning/distance learning and general education.

Helsinge Education

HälsingeUtbildning (Helsinge Education) is a collaboration between the six councils in the county of Hälsingland and is an non-profit independent juridical organisation. In HälsingeUtbildning the six councils cooperates around adult education on different levels. The cooperation in HälsingeUtbildning allow the six councils to offer the students within the region a broad spectrum of courses that each council by itself would be unable to proved. The cooperation also focuses on development and research concerning long-distance education methods using new technology and new pedagogical methods. HälsingeUtbildning Ekonomiska förening was created in 1997. Every council has a guidance unit that offers career counselling to the citizens free of charge. The guidance units works together in a network within the Hälsingeutbildning.
